Terminals

Tagattitude has developed several terminals that allow a merchant or vendor to accept mobile payment at their point of sale. The terminals offered provide ergonomic, secure, intuitive, and low cost methods of accepting TagPay mobile payment. Different terminals have been developed to offer features such as receipt printing, card POS interfacing, offline mobile payment, and others.

Just a Phone
Any existing phone can be used as a POS terminal for retail transactions.
With a simple SMS or phone call the transaction is requested and signed with NSDT™.
A merchant may use an ordinary mobile phone as a terminal. There is nothing to download on the phone and any type of phone can be used regardless of the operator.
The merchant simply sends an SMS to TagPay with the amount and client’s phone number. The client and merchant then receive a phone call instructing them to enter their pass code and bring their phones together for NSDT™ authentication.
In a few seconds the transaction is signed and both parties receive confirmation via SMS.
Just a Computer
Use a computer as a POS terminal for retail transactions.
The e.TagPay website is a POS device that uses NSDT™ to sign transactions securely using the customer’s phone.
The e-TagPay uses any computer with an internet connection as a POS terminal. The Merchant uses their phone to log in to the e.TagPay site with Very Smart Authentication. The merchant selects the type of transaction they wish to make and enter the amount and the customer’s phone number. The customer receives a phone call and enters his or her pass code in their phone before bringing it to the computer’s speakers to sign the transaction with NSDT™. A standard computer printer can be used to print the receipt.
Phone-Based Terminals
TagPay’s phone-based terminals use a Java application to transform a low-cost cell phone into a POS terminal. A plastic shell gives the phone the look of a POS.
Phone-based TagPay terminals (TagPay1x00) consist of a java enabled phone encased in a plastic terminal shell— The shell gives a terminal-like appearance and guides the placement of the customer’s phone. The TagPay JAVA application sends transaction requests to the platform and receives the NSDT™ tokens used to sign transactions with the customer’s phone. A Bluetooth printer can be used to print receipts.
Hybrid/offline terminals
Hybrid terminals (standard POS with an NSDT™ applet) and Offline terminals (customer phone used as the modem) are available retail solutions.
The TagPay1800 is a hybrid POS: it is a standard multi -application INGENICO, PAX, or SAGEM terminal on which an application supporting NSDT™ has been installed.
The TagPay6000 POS terminal is offline and does not require a SIM card or phone line connection. The customer’s phone is used as the communication channel with the TagPay platform. It includes a printer and display screen.
